I had the absolute pleasure of shooting this AMAZING family yesterday at their house! It was such a great shoot! I get to go back soon for some awesome belly shots of the "mother-of-two-to-be"! :) Hope you enjoy the pictures! I know I haven't posted in a while, so I'll make up for it soon!
Hey, Everyone!

I would like to thank all of my clients for their continued patience in getting orders sent off and returning emails and phone calls. I've fallen a bit behind! I had the opportunity to visit Montreal, QB two weeks ago and last week was finals at Tech, so I spent every evening/night studying! This week is my catch-up week, so if you don't here from this week, please call me and check in! Thanks again!!!
but onto business - Here my most recent Engagement Session!

Thanks for looking! Hope you enjoyed!

I was tagged by a fellow photographer, Mandy Roberts, who did this on her blog - so I figured....why not?! a change for you to know me a little better.
What I was doing 10 years ago:
Um...this is embrassing. haha! 10 years ago I was almost 10 years old. :) I would have been a...what...5th grader? I was living in Arkansas at the time...and I don't remember much about then, because it was....well, when I was 10. ;) a much better question would be what will I be doing in 10 years....
Seven things on my To Do List today:
1) Ace Econ 202 Final
2) Study for business law 255 final tomorrow
3) begin studying for history 201 final on Thursday
4) Send off three orders to respective clients
5) Fill out photographer form for church for May 24th wedding
6) Put last weekend's wedding on computer and prepare for editing
7) Email clients - it's MONDAY....
Things I would do if I were a billionaire:
Just one billion? gah...what can you do what that these days?! hahha! JUST KIDDING. first thing I would do is pay off the house I live in, since that is the only "debt" our family has, but really, it's an investment if you think about it. Then I would take about $225 million and invest it heavily in mutual funds and my own diversified portfolio and of course, hire a few people to keep an eye on those investments for me. I would then give my parents and my sister plenty to make them comfortable for the rest of their lives....then I'd set up college funds for my future nieces and nephews so that they can go wherever they want to college without having to worry about anything but grades! Then I'd go to college myself (anywhere I wanted) and get my JD from a prestigious law school and my PhD in economics. Knowledge truly is power. I'd hope to land a good job for a large corporation and attempt to work my way up the ladder or possibly start a company of my own someday. The rest of the money I'd use to buy a nice, but modest house for myself, nothing too lavish, it's just me; a nice car and SUV, one for driving around to conserve gas, the SUV for hauling stuff. I would then enjoy life knowing I didn't have to worry about bills or costs or anything, I would just be able to live... I know most people say the first thing they'd do is QUIT THEIR JOB...but I'd be bored shirtless....there's no way in heck I'm quitting school or my job! I've gotta have SOMETHING to do! haha! I'd then give as much as I could to foundations like the American Cancer Society, The Alzheimer's Association, and help to find a cure for AIDS. I'd donate a lot to Louisiana Tech University and any other school which I choose to attend.

To keep up with the photography world, changes are needed constantly to stay ahead of the game! I had really let my website get bogged down with shoots that were months and months old - if not years! Although they may have been some of my favorite pictures, I needed to update them with pictures that reflect my most recent styles and shoots. I have accomplished that goal! I'm not completely done, because it's a long process to upload everything, but what I've gotten is a great start, I think.
Here are some screen shots of the new additions and changes:
New Splash Page:

New Homepage Slideshow Images:

Four (about to be Five) New Featured Albums:

I decided to simplify the website by all black backgrounds with no gradient and plain white text. you'll notice an increase in the number of black and white images to the galleries as well for the more classic and clean look. I'd really appreciate you going to take a look around and let me know what you think! Thanks!
Hope you have a GREAT day!
